Terms of Service

1. The FlexiRentor Service

FlexiRentor is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects individuals who wish to rent out their personal items ("Owners") with individuals who wish to rent those items ("Renters"). We are a neutral platform; we are not a party to any rental agreement between users.

1.1. MVP Phase Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that during our initial launch phase, FlexiRentor acts solely as a discovery and communication platform. We do not process payments, handle security deposits, or provide logistics or insurance. All transactions, handovers, and agreements are made directly between the Owner and the Renter.

2. User Responsibilities

2.1. All Users

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to interact with other users in a respectful and lawful manner.

2.2. Owners

As an Owner, you represent that you are the legal owner of the items you list and that they are safe and fit for their intended use. You are responsible for creating accurate listings, including clear photos, descriptions, and rental prices. You are solely responsible for managing the handover and collection of your items.

2.3. Renters

As a Renter, you agree to treat the rented items with care and to return them in the same condition you received them, barring normal wear and tear. You are responsible for timely communication and for adhering to the rental terms agreed upon with the Owner.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to list or rent any illegal items, engage in fraudulent activities, harass other users, or violate any applicable laws in Pune, Maharashtra, or India.

4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties. FlexiRentor is not responsible for any damage, theft, loss, or disputes that may arise between users. We do not vet users or inspect items. All transactions are at your own risk.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the community.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
